SHELTER ADMISSIONS
WE ARE A LIMITED CAPACITY SHELTER
We have 11 intake kennels, 22 adoption kennels, 12 cat condos and 10 cat towers. We house between 100 to 150 animals on site of varying size and condition.
We DO NOT euthanize animals for space.
We try and help as many dogs and cats as we can where possible.
Lack of funding, resources and volunteers/fosters can have a huge impact on our ability to support the community. Being a 501c3 nonprofit NO KILL animal welfare society, we are reliant on donations and support to achieve our mission.
We're asking you to help us rehome dogs and cats by using our available resources below, shelter environments are not ideal places for pets and are only designed for short term housing and rehoming for those most in need.
GENERAL ADMISSION INQUERIES
HOW HOME TO HOME WORKS
Animals, from dogs and cats to horses and rabbits can be listed on Home to Home for FREE!
When you list an animal, you're in control, potential adopters may contact you and you rehome the animal from start to end. This keeps animals out of shelters, which can be stressful environments and cause anxiety for an animal.
We encourage you to provide as much information about an animal, including what medical treatment, such as preventatives, vaccines etc. it may have received. Information about its personality and what makes it so special is essential information in rehoming an animal.
Pictures are required and we suggest you take several and post non-blurry, clear images of the animals face and body, avoid any background distractions or taking pictures through gates, fences, crates or other objects which may obstruct the animals face or body.
LOST & FOUND HINTS & TIPS
Sharing is key to reuniting pets with their family.
We always recommend posting found animals to Petco Love Lost, Facebook or other social media platform.
Try and include the following information when posting about an animal:
